2 Railways Crossing Closed in Rawa Buaya

2 crossings Railways (KA) on Jalan Outer Ring Road, Rawa Buaya, were closed and fenced by PT Kereta Api Indonesia on Monday (12/15). The closing of railways is aimed to prevent the frequent accident and safe the driver who cross from Cengkareng to Puri Kembangan and vice versa.

Public Relations and International Cooperation (KSLN) Head of Train Directorate General of Transportation Ministry, Joyce Hutajulu, said the closing has been socialized to the citizens and mostly of them are agree.

"We've done socializing two weeks ago. There must be pros and cons, but we never stop socializing this through a kinship approaching," he said.

PT KAI will Improve Train Stations and Arrange Railway Crossings

Rinan (64) RW 03 resident, Rawa Buaya Urban Village, stated the railway crossing closure will impact on existing businesses around the crossings.

"Our business depends on the city transport drivers and other vehicles which passing through the crossing. If it closed, then we will close our business," complained Rinan.
