MRT and LRT Operate to Serve Customers as Usual during Eid Holiday

The MRT and LRT Jakarta operate as usual during the Eid holiday. The MRT operates from 06:00 to 22:30 with a headway of 10 minutes.

We operate as usual, but the headway time follows the headway on the weekend

PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Corporate Secretary Division Head Rendi Alhial said the MRT Jakarta operating hour was regulated based on Jakarta Transportation Agency Head's Decree No. 198/2022 on Technical Guidelines for Managing Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities during PPKM Level 2 COVID-19.

"PT MRT Jakarta continues to operate to support people's activities in Jakarta during the Eid holiday. We operate as usual, but the headway time follows the headway on the weekend, which is every 10 minutes," he conveyed, Monday (5/2).

Moreover, the MRT Jakarta offered promos for public transport users which only valid during the Eid holiday, as follows:

- Special price program (cashback tenant) for customers who shop at station's tenants during the Eid holiday, such as Auntie Anne's, Alfamart, Chatime, and Family Mart

- Cashback ticket program from e-wallet partners, including LinkAja, AstraPay, and Gopay for MRT users who travel during Eid holiday using an e-wallet

- Feeder promo program through collaboration with Swoop, Bluebird, Tebengan, and Grab to make it easier for public transport users to travel from or to MRT stations during the Eid holiday

- Extra double point (point collection) and special promo with a total of 555 redemption points can be exchanged for shopping e-voucher and telecommunication operator credit (redemption point) during the Eid holiday

- Promos that can be accessed by visiting tourist attractions, malls, and culinary spots around MRT stations (Moja, M Bloc, Ancol Dreamland)

- Prizes for MRT users who play Bedug Master game, joyride, and music in the station with the community during the Eid holiday

"PT MRT will continue to provide the best service for the public. We encourage passengers to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols in the MRT Jakarta area," he stated.

Meanwhile, PT LRT Jakarta Corporate Secretary General Manager Sheila Indira Maharshi informed that during the Eid holiday, the LRT Jakarta operates from 05:30 to 22:30 with a headway time of 10 minutes.

"LRT is operating as usual during Eid holiday with 100 percent passengers capacity from 05:30 to 22:30," she mentioned.
