Traffic Arrangements Prepared for Mass Eid Prayers at JIS

Welcoming for mass Eid prayers at Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), the Jakarta Government has made traffic arrangements and prepared shuttle vehicles to mobilize the congregation to the JIS.

We have assigned our personnel to arrange parking and drop off, both in JIS area, ITF parking area, and feeder parking area

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) Head Syafrin Liputo explained that his side had prepared arrival and return routes for congregation who performed Eid prayers at JIS and regulated vehicles flow and drop off points for public transportation.

"People don't need to worry and be confused, because we have personnel to arrange parking and drop off, both in JIS area, ITF parking area, and feeder parking area. Just follow the instructions in the field and please don't park your vehicles in any place for mutual comfort," he said, as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release, Saturday (4/30).

The following are arrival routes to JIS:

From the south via Jl. Gunung Sahari - Jl. Lodan Raya - Jl. Benyamin Sueb;

From the west via port toll exit Kemayoran - Jl. Benyamin Sueb; From the east via Port toll exit Ancol via Kemayoran - Jl. Benyamin Sueb; From the east via Jl. RE Martadinata - Jl. Sunter Permai; From the east via Jl. Bisma Raya - Jl. Sunter Permai Raya

From the south via Jl. HBR Motik - Jl. Danau Sunter Barat - Jl. Danau Sunter Utara; From the south via Jl. Benyamin Sueb - take a U-turn to Jl. Griya Utama - Jl. Danau Sunter Utara

While for the return route from JIS as follows:

Head towards Jl. Sunter Permai Raya - Jl. Bisma Raya to Jl. Danau Sunter Permai Raya - Jl. Danau Sunter Barat-Jl. HBR Motik or can pass through Jl. Danau Sunter Selatan; Then, heading east to Jl. RE Martadinata or west to Jl. RE Martadinata-take a U-turn to Jl. Lodan Raya-entering Ancol east toll gate; Head towards Jl. Danau Sunter Permai - Jl. Danau Sunter Barat - Jl. Griya Utama - Jl. Benyamin Sueb-enters Kemayoran toll gate

Meanwhile, vehicles that entering JIS can access the West and East Gates that will be directed to enter stadium parking area.

If parking lot in the stadium is full, vehicles will be directed to enter East Parking Area 1 and 2. Likewise, the vehicles flow when leaving JIS after Eid prayers can lead to via West Gate, South Gate, and East Gate.

His side also provided five parking areas near JIS in RSPI Soelianti Saroso, 17 Agustus University, Graha YKI, D’Arcici, and Ruko Sunter Nirwana.

There were also five shuttle bus from parking bags to JIS (back and forth). Although parking areas had been provided, the Government still advised people to use public transportation, both conventional and online.

Transjakarta operated bus fleets from Harmoni (departure point: in front of Duta Merlin) - Senen Terminal - Tanjung Priok Terminal. Transjakarta buses served two departure schedules, namely 05:00 and 05:10 from each departure point. After the prayer, the congregation could also use the service to return to the departure points.

This service applied normal rates. While, there were also three online transportation services that collaborate with Jakarta Government, namely Grab, Gojek, and Bluebird. The online transportation drop off was located at the South Gate, near West Ramp. While online transportation car would be on standby in east parking area.

Jakarta Dishub would also restrict traffic flow on Jl. Sunter Permai Raya dan Jl. Danau Sunter Barat that led to JIS from 04:00 to 09:00, except for Eid prayers congregation and residents living around JIS area.
