"So far, there has been no significant increase in passengers returning to Jakarta," he explained.

He estimated that the Eid backflow would increase from Saturday (5/7) to Sunday (5/8). Most passengers from Sumatera, Java, Bali, NTB, and NTT would arrive at the terminal around dawn to morning.

"We predict a surge in passengers on Saturday and Sunday from 03:00 to 06:00. All passengers from Aceh to NTT mostly arrive at that time every day," he conveyed.

Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal Operational IV Team Commander (Danru) Bonari added his side continued to coordinate with other sectors and agencies for 24 hours before the Eid backflow.

His side also carried out ramp and health checks on bus crews to create a sense of security and comfort.

"Health check is conducted by health team from Cakung Sub-district Health Center. We also provide booster vaccination service for passengers on the second floor of the terminal," he concluded.
