Homecomers Arriving at Stations in Jakarta Continue to Increase

The backflow of homebound travelers can be seen at several stations in Jakarta Operational Region (Daop) 1, such as Gambir Station, Pasar Senen Station, Jatinegara Station, Jakarta Kota Station, Bekasi Station, and Cikampek Station  

Passengers arriving at the stations are expected to increase until May 10

According to PT. KAI Daop 1 Public Relations Head Eva Chairunisa said as many as 111,700 travelers got off the train at Gambir Station, Pasar Senen Station, Jatinegara Station, Jakarta Kota Station, Bekasi Station, and Cikampek Station from May 4 to 6, 2022.

As of 7:00 in the morning, there were 39,300 people arrived at stations in Jakarta Daop 1 region.

"Passengers arriving at the stations are expected to increase until May 10," she mentioned, Friday (5/6).

KAI personnel had been assigned to be on standby in the platforms and hall areas to facilitate the flow of passengers at the station. They would help to direct the passengers arriving at the station not to gather in a certain location while waiting to be picked up.

"We also remind passengers to re-check their luggage before getting off the train," she added.
