Commission B Supports Food Station to Expand the Market

Jakarta Council (DPRD) Commission B Chairperson Ismail supports PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) to expand domestic and international markets.

Supply must be strengthened thus it can meet the needs in Jakarta and other regions in Indonesia

As one of the Regional-owned Enterprises (BUMD), Food Station was expected to carry out the company's business projections properly.

"To maintain food security in Jakarta, they must continue to expand the market," he said, Tuesday (5/17).

FSTJ: New Policy, Cooking Oil Looks Stable

Therefore, they needed to strengthen their cooperation with farmers in rice-producing areas.

"Supply must be strengthened thus it can meet the needs in Jakarta and other regions in Indonesia," he expressed.

Food Station President Director Pamrihadi Wiraryo stated that currently, Food Station is focusing on working on the market in Kalimantan.

"We expect that it takes three to four years to dominate the market in Kalimantan. Now, we have entered Balikpapan," he mentioned.

According to him, Kalimantan is a very large market and provides wide opportunities for collaboration with entrepreneurs.

"In the future, we will expand the market to Banjarmasin, Bontang, and continue to South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan," he conveyed.

Food Station targeted the international market by expanding the market sales to Arabian Peninsula.

"God willing, we will release rice shipping containers to Saudi Arabia on Thursday (5/19)," he closed.
