"With stock that reaches 38,000 tons, it is considered safe and under control ahead of fasting and Eid ul-Fitri," he asserted, Tuesday (3/15).

The data above was strengthened by the Indonesian Vice President Ma'ruf Amin's statement that saying the rice stock and supply approaching Ramadan were safe after he visited the PIBC.

During the visit, he was checking the price of rice and its availability at several grocery stores in the market while accompanied by National Food Agency Head Arief Prasetyo Adi; Perum Bulog's Supply Chain and Public Service Director Mokhamad Suyamto; and PT FSTJ President Director Pamrihadi Wiraryo.

"The price is not going up. Even according to the report, it is cheaper than the same period before Ramadan last year. It means everything is safe," he conveyed.
