MRT Adjusts Train Operating Hours

PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) changes its operating hours which have been taking effect from today, Wednesday (5/18).

PT. MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) made changes to MRT train operating hours which took effect from Wednesday (5/18).

MRT schedule was adjusted to follow up Jakarta Transportation Agency Head's Decree No. 251/2022 on Technical Guidelines for Managing Transport Capacity and Operational Time of Transportation Facilities during PPKM Level 2 COVID-19.

PT MRT Jakarta (Perseroda) Corporate Secretary Division Head Rendi Alhial explained that according to the decree, his side set the MRT operating hours as follows:

MRT and LRT Operate to Serve Customers as Usual during Eid Holiday

1. MRT operates from 05:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and from 06:00 to 23:00 on weekends and holidays.

2. Headway time between trains:

• Weekdays: Every 5 minutes during peak hours (07:00 to 09:00 and 17:00 to 19:00) and every 10 minutes during off-peak hours

• Weekends and holidays: Every 10 minutes

Furthermore, the company also reminded customers to follow the applicable regulations while in the station and train areas, especially complying with health protocols to prevent COVID-19 transmission by wearing masks and regularly washing hands using soap.

MRT users were also urged to scan a QR code via the PeduliLindungi application before entering the station area and not to speak in one or two directions while on the train.
