Djarot to Meet DPRD Leaders to Discuss the 2015 APBD

A number of tasks have waiting Djarot Saiful Hidayat after he is inaugurated as Jakarta Vice Governor. His first task is to complete the discussion of the 2015 City Budget (APBD) with the City Council (DPRD). This task is a priority because the budget ratification is already behind schedule.

According to Djarot, he has coordinated with Jakarta Governor Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama about tasks division. Both will support each other in solving city’s problems.
“Mr. Governor have mentioned that the duties of vice governor are to support the governor and work fast to realize the New Jakarta because we only have time less than three years. That is the thing I must emphasize on,” stated Djarot after his inauguration at City Hall, Wednesday (12/17).

“I will hold gathering with all DPRD leaders tomorrow, especially to accelerate and sharpen the KUA-PPAS,” he said.
As known, the 2015 APBD is still not ratified yet despite the end of year is approaching. The budget discussion is targeted to finish on upcoming December 29, so the 2015 APBD could be ratified early next year. The ratification is behind schedule because the council boards (AKD) were just formed. At this time, the 2015 APBD is still being discussed by the Budget Board (Banggar).
