A massive fire destroyed 40 houses and 7 shop houses on Jalan Muara Baru, RT 16/17, Penjaringan Urban Village, North Jakarta, Monday (12/22) night. The fire incident that broke out 10.40 PM is triggered by stove explosion from one of citizen houses.
As many as 28 fire trucks of North Jakarta Fire and Disaster Handling Sub-Department immediately sent to the scene. Firemen had difficulties to put out the flames due to many houses made from flammable materials
