Rainfall Does Not the Same As in 2012, Djarot Hopes

The city administration keeps conducting various ways to face rainy season as flooding anticipation which predicted to hit Jakarta in January - February 2015. It is hoped rainfall does not the same as rain in 2012 thus flooding can be prevented.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat disclosed his party is ready to anticipate flooding. In any case, he also has prepared various worst possibilities. "Hopefully, rainfall is not the same as in 2012. At that time, the flooding is very terrible," he expressed, at City Hall, Wednesday (12/24).

Djarot Not Involved in Civil Servants Reshuffle

He continued various ways to minimize flooding have also been intensified in the city. 

Previously, the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) recorded that if rainfall is more than 100 millimeters per second, it is categorized in torrential rain. The city administration also coordinated with the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) in order to anticipate flooding.
