e-Ticket Applied for Ragunan Zoo Next Month

Ragunan Zoo (TMR) management will impose electronic ticket (e-ticket) system for the visitors. The implementation of e-ticket will apply on January 1, 2015.

From 1 January we will replace the ticket from paper system to electronic tickets

"From 1 January we will replace the ticket from paper system to electronic tickets," said Wahyudi Bambang, Head of Public Relations Ragunan Zoo, Thursday (12/25).

Bambang added, the ticket implementation has to be done because the supporting infrastructure has been prepared. "The infrastructure is ready. From the electronic ticket and the doors," he added.

The electronic ticket, continued Bambang, not much different from paper ticket use. However, visitors must enter the ticket into the machine at the entrance to open barrier. "Just  enter the ticket into the machine, and it will automatically open the barrier. Visitors can buy it at the counter as usual, there are 30 counters that serve the purchase of electronic ticket," he continued.

The use of electronic ticket will be more effective and efficient in collecting visitor data. "There will be only two supervisor on each gate," he explained.

About 170 thousands tickets are prepared for daily operational. "It is the highest number of visitor of this zoo," he disclosed.
