Central Jakarta Mayor: Jumantik's Role Must Be Optimized

Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma asked Jumantik's role to be optimized in preventing Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) transmission.

Mosquito larvae monitoring should be carried out every day in each RT in different locations

He assessed that Jumantik cadres in each RT have an important role in monitoring mosquito larvae in the neighborhood as an effort to prevent the Aedes Aegypti mosquito that triggers DHF.

"Mosquito larvae monitoring should be carried out every day in each RT in different locations. That way, we can find the larvae free index (ABJ) indicator," he conveyed, Wednes day (6/15)

Urban Village Heads Asked to Encourage Residents to Be Independent Jumantik

Every house in the region was expected to activate independent Jumantik action. He also asked Jumantik cadres to evaluate their performance every Friday.

"Fogging is done as the last alternative method, after using PSN and 3M approaches," he asserted.
