Only Rp 3,000, Parking Lot for Motorcycle Provided in IRTI Monas

Jakarta Transportation Department provides a cheap parking lot for motorcycle in IRTI Monas, Central Jakarta, as an effort to support motorcycle ban on Jalan MH Thamrin-Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat. The motorcyclist only needs to pay Rp 3,000 per day to entrust the vehicle.

Sinaga disclosed, the policy is still tentative and will continue to be evaluated in the future. For capacity, IRTI Monas area can accommodate up to 8,000 units of motorcycles every day. Before it applied, its capacity was only 1,000 motorcycles per day. "But it increased threefold after we provide the parking lot in IRTI Monas," he told.
