Five Tons of Inorganic Waste Transported from Cengkareng Barat

The West Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-agency has transported five tons of inorganic waste from the Satu Hati Central Waste Bank (BSISH) in Sanitation Agency Complex, Jalan Bambu Larangan, RT 06/05, Cengkareng Barat, Cengkareng.

It is carried out to reduce waste that will be transported to the Bantar Gebang TPST

West Jakarta LH Sub-agency Head Slamet Riyadi conveyed that the five tons of inorganic waste were collected from all waste banks and waste disposal sites (TPS) in Cengkareng Sub-district.

The waste sorted consisted of plastic waste, paper, cardboard, copper, iron, aluminum, and zinc waste.

"It is carried out to reduce waste that will be transported to the Bantar Gebang TPST," he mentioned, Monday (6/20).

Before the pandemic, the volume of inorganic waste transported to the Bantar Gebang TPST reached 10 tons per day with a total cash circulation of around Rp 15 million.

"The number has increased again. In a day, we can transport five tons of inorganic waste," he informed.
