Additional Parking Lot should Be Provided along Sudirman - Thamrin

To anticipate the high number of vehicles during Jakarta Night Festival (JNF) performances, the entire building managements alongside Jalan Sudirman - Jalan MH Thamrin are asked to open the parking area.

We ask the building managements to open the parking location until JNF event is done

"We ask the building managements to open the parking location until JNF event is done. The parking lot is intended to facilitate the people to park their vehicles and continue the journey by foot or ride TransJakarta bus to JNF event location," said Sunardi Sinaga, Parking Unit Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, Tuesday (12/30).

It is hoped if all building managements open the parking lot will accommodate the people vehicles fully. Related to the parking fee, it is up to the management.

So far, continued Sinaga, some buildings that have expressed their readiness to provide the parking locations are, Sarinah building, Duta Merlin, Indosat building and ESDM Ministry building.

Sinaga added, the city government has also provided a parking area in IRTI Monas.
