Local Tax Revenue Only Rp 52.17 Trillion

The unfulfilled amount of local tax revenues gives impact in 2014 Jakarta City Budget (APBD). This situation will certainly be a preparation in the 2015 city budget calculation.

The reception is only Rp 52.17 trillion, missed the target of Rp 72 trillion

As known, Rp 72.9 trillion had been set as the amount of 2014 city budget. However, the achievement just reached Rp 52.17 trillion along the way. "The reception is only Rp 52.17 trillion, missed the target of Rp 72 trillion. Thus the amount only reach 71 percent of the target," said Heru Budi Hartono, Head of Financial Management Body (BPKD) of Jakarta, at City Hall, Monday (5/1).

Hartono added, the unachieved local tax has caused low budget absorption. "But the rupiah value is higher compared to last year," he added.

BPKD Optimistic the 2015 APBD Ratified Soon

The unachieved local taxes are motor vehicle tax by Rp 49 trillion realization out of target Rp 51 trillion, hotel tax from Rp 1.4 trillion target to Rp 1.3 trillion realization, and restaurant tax from Rp 2 trillion target to Rp 1.8 trillion realization.

"In the future, we'll not set high target to avoid breaking the regional mid-term development plan in 2016," he continued.

While for expenditure or budget absorption in 2014 reached Rp 43.4 trillion. That means, there is still the remaining budget (SiLPA) by Rp 8.7 trillion. the Silpa will be included in the calculation of the 2015 City Budget (APBD) that currently is being discussed by Jakarta Provincial Government and Jakarta City Council (DPRD).

As for the local revenue this year consists of local tax by Rp 27 trillion and local revenue (PAD) Rp 32 trillion.
