The Jakarta Culture Agency (Disbud) together with the Center for Disaster Data and Information (Pusdatin) and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) collaborated to verify and validate (Verval) Cultural Heritage in Central and North Jakarta from Tuesday (7/12) to Friday (7/15).

Jakarta Culture Agency Head Iwan Henry Wardhana said the Verval activity was made to facilitate the public to find information about historical sites in Jakarta.

Hope it can be one of the efforts to preserve cultural heritage in Jakarta," he expressed, at the Jakarta Culture Agency Office, as quoted from Jakarta PPIP's press release, Monday (7/18).
Jakarta Designates 6 Museum Collections as Cultural Conservation ObjectsIt was conducted by visiting the cultural heritage sites in Central and North Jakarta areas. Documentation was also done to be used as a point of distribution of cultural heritage per region.
Culture and Language Data Management Sub-Coordinator for Pusdatin Widhi Permanawiyat added that from the results of the field survey and data processing for four days, there are 43 cultural heritage points and 10 museums in Central Jakarta, as well as 16 cultural heritage points and three museums in North Jakarta that have been designated.
Aside that, information about the story and the location of historical sites in Jakarta can be accessed via the 'Budaya Kita' app, which will soon be integrated with the Culture Agency in order to realize Presidential Decree number 9/2016 and number 39/2019 on One Data.
"Nowadays, it is easier for us to find information about cultural heritage and museums in Jakarta, since digital technology supports them. Therefore, the results of the field survey will be used as supporting data at the Information Center for Digitizing Cultural Heritage Maps and the Jakarta Museum," he stated.
