The presence of the Goods and Service Procurement Unit (ULP) at the city level has given a new hope in efforts to accelerate the budget absorption. It is hoped the absorption can be boosted higher compared the previous year.

East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana said the difficulty in coordinate and poor knowledge about the procurement of goods and service with ULP at provincial level is a reason for the regional working units (SKPD) against the lack of absorption in 2014. Therefore, he hopes the ULP at the city level can be processed quickly, so that absorption can be maximized.

" We have the ULP at the city level right now, and is hoped able to absorb budget highly this year ," he stated, Tuesday (1/12).

Musyawardana also asked the ULP in city level to give their commitment to support the SKPD and UKPD in budget absorption process. He also hoped the auction process can be started on upcoming 2015.

"I wish the auction process will start in February, especially for the physical construction due to it needs a long time," said Musyawardana.
