Sidewalks in Monas Area Cleaned to Make You Comfortable

Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma led a cleanup action on the sidewalks of the Monas area or Jalan Medan Merdeka, Gambir, which aims to welcome Indonesia's 77th Independence Day.

Monas is located in Central Jakarta area, so it is our responsibility to care for it

"Monas is located in Central Jakarta area, so it is our responsibility to care for it,"  he expressed, Friday (8/12).

According to him, it was actually to encourage all parties to care for the Monas area, which is the pride of Jakarta, especially in Indonesia.

Four Sidewalks in West Primary Center Area Revitalized

His party involved joint personnel to clean up the sidewalks, consisting of Bina Marga, Water Resources, Fire and Rescue, and Parks and Urban Forest sub-agencies assisted by PPSU.

"It is done to make the sidewalk cleaner and more beautiful," he added.

The action also has a message to all elements for maintaining the city of Jakarta.

"Ideally, in the future, all elements like the government, private party, and residents can take part to maintain this beloved city," he closed.
