Legislator Dukung Pemprov DKI Gratiskan PBB Rumah NJOP di Bawah Rp 2 Miliar

DPRD Supports Free PBB Policy for NJOP Houses Below Rp 2 Billion

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) members are supporting the Jakarta administration that frees the Land and Building Tax (PBB) for houses with a Taxable Value of Property (NJOP) below Rp 2 billion.

We have discussed it with Bapenda, where this policy must be right on target for people in need

According to Yusuf, Secretary of Jakarta DPRD Commission C, the fair tax policy would be supported, as long as it was for the social justice of the people.

He hoped that the administration should be more thorough and conduct data collection again thus it could be right on target.

Governor: Jakarta Residents Get PBB Relief through Fair and Equitable Policy

"We have discussed it with Bapenda, where this policy must be right on target for people in need," he stated, Sunday (8/20).

To control local revenue (PAD), Bapenda should be more aggressive and firm in taxing other sectors such as hotels, restaurants, entertainment venues, etc.

The same support also came from Commission D Secretary Syarif.

"We appreciate the administration's spirit in deciding this policy. "We'll see first whether it will have an impact on our income projections, as taxes are one of our PAD income," he stressed.

Therefore, together with Bapenda and related OPD, he needed to conduct research and calculate additional revenue. That was by optimizing the administration assets, especially those of BUMD.

As for the information, the fair tax policy is stated in Gubernatorial Regulation number 23/2022 on Policy for Determining and Payment of PBB as an Effort for Economic Recovery in 2022.
