108 Plots of Land in S. Jakarta Acquired for MRT Project

As many as 108 land plots located in Lebak Bulus, Pondok Pinang and Cilandak Urban Villages, have been acquired for project of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) in 2014. To accelerate it, the remaining land acquisition will also be accelerated.

For 3 urban villages, there has been 43.9 percent, with wide that already acquired using percentage method is 30 percent. Its acquisition spent  Rp 36.4 billion

"Based on the data until December 2014, we'd acquired 108 plots with 5,097 square meters wide which located in Lebak Bulus Urban Village outside a depot, Pondok Pinang, and Cilandak Barat," said Deputy Mayor of South Jakarta, Tri Kurniadi, Thursday (1/15).

Kurniadi uttered, the target plots needed in 3 urban villages is 246 points and its wide reaches 16,948 square meters. "For 3 urban villages, there has been 43.9 percent, with wide that already acquired using percentage method is 30 percent. Its acquisition spent  Rp 36.4 billion," he told.

Djarot: MRT Project must Be Worked 24 Hours

As for the MRT land, he furthered, his side requires 101 plots of land with 93,456 square meters wide, in which 96 percent acquired. "It only leaves 4 percent, with details 3 plots owned by local citizens and 1 plot owned by foundation," he described.

He added for land acquisition this year is still unknown, because it is not yet known who will do it. "As far as I heard, it might be done by the National Land Agency (BPN)," he expressed.

Currently, the MRT project is under construction process. Some points that have been acquired directly demolished from the previous building and was given a zinc fence. Even, the pile installation along Jalan Panglima Polim-Jalan Singamangaraja already began working.
