Seribu Islands Reports 89.1 Percent in Realization of BIAN, Highest in Jakarta

The Seribu Islands Health Sub-agency reported the implementation of National Child Immunization Month (BIAN) in Seribu Islands has touched 89.1 percent of the total target of 2,067 children.

Seribu Islands Health Sub-agency Head Herwin Meifendy said until August 25, 2022, the BIAN achievement in the two sub-districts had reached 89.1 percent or around 1,842 children.

"We have managed to touch 139.73 percent, which is the highest in Jakarta," he expressed, Saturday (8/27).

He went on to say that the second rank was Central Jakarta (69.71 percent) and the third rank was East Jakarta (68.19 percent).

In its execution, the health worker gave additional measles-rubella immunization to children aged 9 to 59 months, including completing the missed basic immunizations, starting from Polio, IPV, and OPV.

"Hope it can finish soon, thus children can go back to school," he hoped.
