Food Station Supplies Rice Needs for Hundreds of MRT Employees

City-owned food security company PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (PT FSTJ), collaborated with PT MRT Jakarta to procure rice for employees, which aims to improve PT MRT Jakarta employees' welfare while maintaining food availability and security in Jakarta.

Besides helping the absorption of Food Station, the program also absorbs rice from farmers in various production centers

In the cooperation agreement to provide food or beras untuk karyawan 'rice for employees' (Berkawan) program signed by PT FSTJ President Director Pamrihadi Wiraryo and PT MRT President Director Mohamad Aprindy, it was agreed that PT FSTJ would supply rice for 728 employees.

In addition to the welfare of the employees of cooperation, PT FSTJ Director Pamrihadi said it was also valuable for reducing food inflation caused by fluctuations in rice prices in Jakarta. That is why he continues to cooperate from upstream to downstream.

Food Station Launches New Product FS Pulen Wangi

Until July 2022, 10,066 out of 14,245 BUMD employees participated in this program.

"Besides helping the absorption of Food Station, the program also absorbs rice from farmers in various production centers," he stated, Thursday (9/8).

He added that they do not have to join it because it is voluntary.

"We are gradually educating them during the socialization. We are sure that the number of participants who join this program will continue to grow," he asserted.

His party will keep collaborating with the government and the private sector to maintain food security in Jakarta

PT MRT Jakarta President Director, Mohamad Aprindy added that his party would encourage all employees on various projects to take part in the program.

"This program is very positive. That's why I will encourage MRT employees in various projects to participate in this program," he concluded.

Even, PT FSTJ was offered to use 13 MRT stations to display the Food Station program.

"MRT has 13 stations that the Food Station can use for product dissemination," he closed.
