Food Station, IPB Works on Sustainable Agricultural Technology Development

City-owned food security company PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya (FSTJ) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), West Java to perfect the cheap food program.

The signing was conducted by PT FSTJ President Director Pamrihadi Wiraryo ad IPB Rector Arif Satria in the Rector's Meeting Room 1, Rectorate Building, IPB Campus, Darmaga Bogor, West Java.
Jakarta BP BUMD Head Thomas witnessed it, followed by Dean of the Faculty of Human Ecology Ujang Sumarwan; Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Suryo Wiyono; and IPB Alumni Relations and Cooperation Director Syarifah Iis Aisyah.
Transjakarta Explores Procurement of Electric Mikrotrans FleetPT FSTJ President Director Pamrihadi Wiraryo said that the MoU would be continued with a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Faculty of Human Ecology, IPB to prepare a feasibility study related to the assessment of consumption patterns, energy, and nutrient adequacy levels for recipients of the cheap food program.
"There will be recommendations for improvement and refinement of the Jakarta cheap food program," he expressed, Sunday (8/14).
He explained that the collaboration itself covers the fields of education, research, community service, and the application of innovation. It was deemed a fundamental endeavor in collaborative scientific research and education.
"As well as the transfer of knowledge and technology to address complex issues of sustainable agriculture," he explained.
He added it is also a reflection of the realization or implementation of the link and match between PT FSTJ and IPB. Both sides wished to establish strong and effective cooperation.
This MoU is also a legal umbrella which is the first step in the collaboration between PT FSTJ and IPB in the context of realizing the Tridharma of Higher Education.
"It is also to ensure maximum harmony and synergy towards the target of strengthening education, science, and technology," he added.
As Jakarta BUMD, FSTJ became an instrument in implementing programs related to community welfare.
"Hope this collaboration can be useful for the community," he hoped.
