West Jakarta Mayor Opens Centra Primer Barat Festival

West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko, opened the West Primary Center Festival initiated by the West Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency (Parekraf), Friday (9/16). The event features a variety of artistic and creative economy attractions.

On that occassion, the West Primary Center area has a very important role. Besides being a business center, it is also the center of government offices, and has the potential for interesting tourism objects.

He hoped that it could be a West Jakarta 'people's party' which aims to revive the economy and provide entertainment.

"I express my appreciation and gratitude to all parties' support for the smooth running of this event," he expressed.

West Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan explained that there are 100 Jakpreneurs who joined the festival, which is held from September 16 to 18. On the first day Friday (9/16), there is traditional and modern music arts, followed by Barista competition on Saturday (9/17), and culinary festival on Sunday (7/18).

"Hopefully, we carry the theme of West Primary Center as one of the tourist destinations in West Jakarta," she concluded.
