Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will inaugurate the Kampung Gembira Gembrong on Wednesday 910/5) morning

The revitalization of the Kampung Gembira Gembrong settlement on Jalan Basuki Rahmat RW 01, Cipinang Besar Utara (CBU), Jatinegara, East Jakarta has finally been 100 percent completed.

As planned, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan would inaugurate the Kampung Gembira Gembrong on Wednesday (10/5).

Currently, the East Jakarta administration is holding a coordination meeting related to preparations for the inauguration of Kampung Gembira Gembrong at the local mayor's office.

"InsyaAllah, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan will inaugurate the Kampung Gembira Gembrong on Wednesday 910/5) morning," said East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar, Monday (10/3).

Until now, there are no work activities at the location as the revitalization has been completed 100 percent, including electricity network, clean water, drainage, asphalt road, JakWIFI park network, PAUD, and so forth.

"Residents affected by the fire will later be able to live more safely and comfortably. Because in the past, their houses were not suitable, but later they become very decent," he explained.

He urged that the residents who will occupy this residence change their behavior for the better. Moreover, previously the residents had received guidance when they were still high in a shelter in the Cipinang Besar Utara Flat.

"They must be disciplined and be able to protect their environment by not littering," he stated.
