The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts rainy season will last until February. Jakarta people and its surrounding areas are urged to be vigilant in case of heavy rain, particularly in flood-prone areas.

He disclosed, the weather in the Greater Jakarta on Monday (1/26) morning until this noon is predicted to be sunny-cloudy. But in the afternoon until night, rain with light-moderate intensity will flush North Jakarta, Seribu Islands, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, Bogor, and Bekasi.

"For Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, and Tangerang, rain will fall with mild intensity in short duration," he reported.
