According to him, flood prevention is a priority for the Jakarta Provincial Government's activities through the BPBD.

"We must support them (BPBD) for maximum performance. I believe, the Jakarta Government will provide the best service for its residents," he asserted.

When a flood occurred, the government's role was very maximal in responding to it. For instance, the Social Agency which directly provides ready-to-eat food assistance to affected residents, including setting up public kitchens and evacuation tents.

He mentioned that the existence of disaster alert villages (KSB) at flood-prone points was also very helpful in accelerating disaster management. Therefore, they must be optimized in each region.

"I'm sure the urban village and sub-district heads are quick to respond when a flood or other disaster occurs," he stated.

After socialization, they continued to inspect the land that had been acquired for the normalization of the Ciliwung River.
