TMII Kembali Dibuka Usung Konsep Penghijauan, Dukung Program Langit Biru

City Reopens TMII with Green Concept

We put forward the concept of inclusiveness and greenery

After 10 months of being closed due to revitalization, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is back open to the public. As planned, the limited opening trial starts on November 20 with the number of visitors being limited to a maximum of 5,000 people per day.

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan, and Ratu Boko (PT TWC) President Director, Edy Setijono said before revitalization the ratio of the number of buildings to greenery was 70 to 30 percent. But, now it has been reversed, greenery is dominated with a ratio of 70 percent for greenery and open space, as well as 30 percent for buildings.

7,500 People Have Visited TMII

"We put forward the concept of inclusiveness and greenery. As a miniature of Indonesia, TMII contributes to reducing carbon in overcoming global warming, as well as helping oxygen supply by increasing plants," he expressed.

He supports the Jakarta administration in realizing the Langit Biru Jakarta (Blue Sky) program. Greening will continue to be added and all trees planted will be identified. It would be a vehicle for education for the community, especially students because they could know the names and ages of the trees.

"In this inclusive concept, there is more public space for the community," he expressed.
