Graha Wisata TMII and Ragunan Provide Isolation Rooms for OTGs

The Graha Wisata Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) and the Graha Wisata Ragunan have been re-opened to accommodate asymptomatic COVID-19 patients (OTG)s.

We make them as comfortable as possible in the room and we prepare everything

Based on data, the Graha Wisata TMII has 41 rooms that can accommodate 100 patients, and the Graha Wisata Ragunan has 78 rooms that can accommodate 200 patients.

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency's Pavilion and Graha Wisata Head, Yayang Kustiyawan stated, the Graha Wisata TMII had received 11 OTGs since it opened on Monday (2/7).

Knowing Terms and Procedures of Self-Isolation for Covid-19 Patients

"While the Graha Wisata Ragunan is still empty from the patient," he mentioned, Tuesday (2/8).

He explained that these buildings have three-star hotel service standards that are equipped with bed, bathroom, wardrobe, air conditioning, television, and wireless internet network (WiFi) facilities.

Patients who are self-isolating in those places are not allowed to leave their rooms. For activities outside the room, it is only allowed to exercise every morning at certain hours in a predetermined place.

Meanwhile, the services and facilities provided at these two locations prioritized patients' comfort to speed up the recovery process. Patients can also order food and drinks through the marketplace. When the order had arrived, the officer on duty would deliver it to the patient's room.

"We make them as comfortable as possible in the room and we prepare everything," he added.

According to him, health workers from Jakarta Health Agency (Dinkes) would always visit the buildings regularly to monitor patients' health and recovery. If there were patients who show symptoms, they would be treated by health workers immediately.

"We also have doctors who visit every day. If the patient's condition gradually improves and there are no complaints, the patient can go home," he said.
