The Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has painted embankments in six locations spread across Untung Jawa Island. Besides maintenance, painting also aims to beautify the area.

Seribu Islands SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri expressed a total of 483 meters of the embankment was painted with colorful paint.

"So, it will look more beautiful and can be a tourist attraction," he expressed, Wednesday (11/30).

He stated that it has been ongoing since mid-November 2022. Those six locations are on the main pier which is 40 meters long, urban village and Transportation Agency piers with 50 meters long, SDN 01 Pulau Untung Jawa embankment with 50 meters long, and Taman Sakura embankment with 94 meters long.

"Then the coastal border I embankment with 136 meters long and the coastal II embankment with 113 meters long. The total is 483 meters," he stated.
