PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN) together with the Malaysian Embassy and the Indonesian Employers' Association holds a Trade Expo Manufacture (TEM) at the KBN Ballroom from November 28 to 30, 2022.

We hope to build a strategic alliance for joint industrial area development cooperation in the future

TEM is a trade meeting event for entrepreneurs from two countries, Malaysia and Indonesia, known as Malaindo.

There are 40 entrepreneurs from Malaysia and Indonesia engaged in the fashion, cosmetics, furniture, forwarder, warehouse, food and beverage (F&B), and banking businesses who joined the trade expo.

This exhibition carries the concept of Business Matching (B2B). Malaysian entrepreneurs will look for business partners to become distributors and meet supplier needs.

PT KBN Operation Director, Satrio Witjaksono said the purpose of holding the Malaindo Business Matching was to create cooperative relations and create business opportunities between the two countries.

It was also aimed at getting potential investors, bringing opportunities for cooperation, strengthening the connectivity of business opportunities, and branding Malaysian and Indonesian entrepreneurs.

"KBN is proud to be part of the formation of an ecosystem in order to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries," he expressed, Wednesday (11/30).

As the first SOE specialist in transformation in Indonesia, the KBN is committed to realizing standardization of regional services and opening opportunities for strategic partnerships with various parties, as well as developing new areas in other regions.

"We hope to build a strategic alliance for joint industrial area development cooperation in the future. We believe that cooperation between Malaysia-Indonesia can increase economic power and sovereignty in the region, especially in ASEAN," he stressed.

As for the information, the Trade Expo Manufacture Malaindo 2022 presented a Business Seminar and visits to investors following the business fields of entrepreneurs in the KBN area.

Entrepreneurs can introduce their products to potential buyers or partners. As for potential buyers or partners can see directly the products offered by the manufacturer. Thereby, it is hoped that business prospects will emerge from the two countries.

There are several seminar agendas with different themes during the three days of the exhibition such as Export Seminars, Business Seminars, and COO Seminars.
