PT Kawasan Berikat Nusantara (KBN) has completed the implementation of phase I and II Covid-19 vaccination centers. They have managed to serve around 39,155 people from July 1 to August 23.

PT KBN Operational Director, Satrio Witjaksono said, the number exceeded the target that was set by 35,200 people or about 111 percent.
In phase I on July 1-24, as many as 22,204 out of 21,900 targeted people had received vaccine shots. Then in phase II on July 23-August 23, as many as 16,951 out of 13,300 targeted people had been vaccinated.

He explained that the vaccination targets were employees, investors and residents around the KBN environment aged 12 and over. Most received Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccine jabs.

"There are four to seven teams of vaccinators, one team has three to four people. They are from KBN Hospital and TNI. Vaccines are given according to and following the provisions of the central and local governments, such as, we also provide vaccines for pregnant women and children aged 12-17 and over," he explained.
PT KBN Vaccination Center Team Secretary, Joko Triono added, his party prepared infrastructure such as ICU to ambulance and human resources to make this mass vaccination successful.
It aims to provide easy access to vaccines by people and expand vaccination coverage in Jakarta. By so, it could immediately reach herd immunity and could stop the spike in active cases in Indonesia.
