Through Public Transport Terminal Management Unit (UPTAJ), the Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) has begun starting ramp checks for buses transporting passengers for this year's Christmas and New Year exodus.

Ramp checks for buses that have been taken from December 7 to 20, 2022 in Kampung Rambutan, Kalideres, Pulogebang, and Tanjung Priok bus terminals are handled by the Greater Jakarta Transportation Agency (BPTJ), Kedaung Angke Motor Vehicle Testing (PKB), Pulogadung PKB, Cilincing PKB, Ujung Menteng PKB, and Jagakarsa PKB.
UPTAJ Head, Syamsul Mirwan expressed that the ramp check includes administrative checks and technical feasibility of AKAP vehicles at the terminal, which aims to create a sense of safety and comfort for passengers and bus crew.

"If the buses fail ramp check, we will stop their operation temporarily. If the violation is minor, they can still operate with a note immediately repaired," he expressed, Friday (12/9).
