this is a concrete manifestation of service improvement

He welcomed efforts to broaden the scope of Jamsostek membership, as well as improve facilities and infrastructure in the Rawamangun Branch BPJamsostek Office.

He hoped that the presence of this qualified BPJamsostek service innovation could harmonize and encourage efforts to improve decent and professional social security and employment services for the general public, state civil servants (ASN), and private employees as BPJamsostek participants.

"Congratulations, this is a concrete manifestation of service improvement through Simplification of Services, Simplification of Business Processes, and Simplification of Service Spaces. Thank you for the innovations that are quite good, thus the comfort of the workforce can improve. The sentence is 'Satukan Semangat, Sejahterakan Pekerja' (Unify the Spirit, Prosper the Workers)," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release.

He added that the efforts made by the central government, regional governments, and BPJamsostek in increasing the coverage of labor protection were expected to help Indonesia's economic recovery and people's welfare.

He also hoped that more workers in the Jakarta area would be protected by employment social security, so they can work safely and comfortably

"BPJS Ketenagakerjaan is closer to its clients. It's good that there was one example, BPJamsostek's online service throughout Indonesia. Earlier, there was also the addition of a new feature to serve BPJamsostek participants. Of course, the Jakarta Provincial Government can also improve services to make things easier, we have already discussed this with the Jakarta Manpower Agency and BPJamsostek," he expressed.

He also expressed his appreciation to the Jakarta Branch BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for collaborating with the Jakarta Government to optimize the implementation of the Employment Social Security Program in Jakarta.

The Jakarta Government, he asserted, has a role in expanding the scope of employment social security participation, especially for Vulnerable Workers, RT/RW, Village Officials, Non-ASN, and 2023 Election Organizers.

According to him, it was in line with the instructions of the Indonesian President to encourage the expansion of the scope of participation in the employee social security program for the extreme poor. The value of the benefits received from the social security program can also prevent workers and their families from becoming new poor or extremely poor families due to work accidents.

BPJS Ketenagakerjaan President Director, Anggoro Eko Cahyo revealed that the presence of the new face of the BPJamsostek Office Service Room, Rawamangun Branch, and the BPJamsostek Service Program was meant, thus workers or residents who were BPJamsostek members could feel the presence of innovation or change in service to a better and more professional direction.

"If they need information and make claims they can be more comfortable. The purpose is only one, namely a good experience for the participants, so they can invite their friends who are also workers who have not been protected by the BPJamsostek program," he added.

He hoped that the Jakarta Government continues to improve and develop synergy with BPJamsostek. Thus, it could strengthen the cooperation for the fulfillment of rights and social protection for workers in Jakarta.

"We also told the Governor that we are doing this throughout Indonesia, this is the 47th branch, and the remaining 200 more will be realized next year. In Jakarta, there has been 51 percent or higher than in other areas. There is much more potential in the future that we can work on together, thus we can reach 80 percent," he concluded.

At the same time, the handover of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Participant Cards to Prospective Indonesian Migrant Workers (CPMI) was symbolically done, as well as the Provision of Work Accident Benefit (JKK) and Death Benefit (JKM) to participants from heirs.

As for the information, Indonesian citizens working abroad or migrant workers also receive protection from BPJamsostek. There are two protection programs from BPJamsostek that Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) must participate in, namely Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Insurance (JKM).

The warming house activity itself was also attended by Economy and Finance Assistant, Sri Haryati; East Jakarta Mayor, M. Anwar; Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency Acting Head, Purnomo; Jakarta Branch BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Director Deputy, Eko Nugriyanto; BPJSKetenagakerjaan Service directors; Rawamangun Branch BP Jamsostek Office Head, Lucy Patitty; Jakarta BPJamsostek Office heads; and representatives of BPJamsostek Participant Company.
