Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono has encouraged collaboration to accelerate economic recovery in Jakarta with various online transportation technology platforms. This statement was stated after he received the Grab for Business's visit at Jakarta City Hall yesterday.

Based on the Jakarta BPS' data, on a year-on-year (YoY) basis, Jakarta's economic growth has exceeded the projected 2022 City Working Plan (RKPD), which is 5-5.4%.
Reflected in Jakarta's economic growth in the third quarter of 2022 which reached 5.94% (YoY). It indicates that Jakarta's economic condition is showing positive performance.

"We'll work with anyone to support the acceleration of Jakarta's economic recovery, especially through empowering MSMEs. We are also ready to collaborate to solve the problem of congestion and support a green economy, by increasing the use of electric transportation," he expressed, as quoted by Jakarta PPID's press release, Tuesday (1/10).
Grab Indonesia President, Ridzki Kramadibrata expressed that today's meeting discussed the possibility of cooperation between Grab Indonesia and Jakarta Government.
"Grab as a transportation technology platform has a lot that can be collaborated with, in line with the Acting Governor's programs," he said.
Several programs that could be collaborated on were activities that were able to support economic recovery through empowering MSMEs and involving his party in solving traffic congestion problems by facilitating the mobility of Jakartans through online transportation technology platforms, including creating an eco-friendly green economy.
"So, from us, there are many things, especially the empowerment of MSMEs through markets. Then is also supported through the Government Goods/Services Procurement Policy Institute (LKPP). Surely, using our fleet of electric vehicles, currently Grab is the largest electric vehicle operator in Indonesia, with a fleet of around 8,500 electric two-wheeled vehicles," he explained.
He asserted that Grab Indonesia was ready to realize Acting Governor's message, thus future cooperation would be able to make Jakarta successful for Indonesia.
"One thing only, Jakarta's success for Indonesia. We both believe in it," he asserted.
