PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro continues to finalize technical and non-technical preparations ahead of the Jakarta E-Prix 2023.

Formula E Operation (FEO) as the global organizer of electric car racing made a visit and a direct inspection of the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit (JIEC) in Ancol, North Jakarta last Friday (1/13).
The visit was led directly by Jakarta E-Prix Project Director, Gemma Roura. During his visit, the FEO said they were satisfied with the technical and non-technical preparations being carried out by Jakpro.

He explained the visit also ensured the preparation stages ahead of the peak of implementation which was scheduled for June 3 and 4, 2023 following the 9th season racing calendar which had been uploaded by Formula E via its official website https://www.fiaformulae.com/en/races.
The first series of the 9th season of Formula E 2023, attended by 11 teams and 22 drivers had been completed in Mexico City, North America, which took place on Saturday (1/14) early morning. The race was won by Avalanche Andretti racer, Jake Dennis.
"The second place was Pascal Wehrlein (Tag Heuer Porsche) and the third place was Lucas in Grassi (Mahindra Racing). As for the second series will take place in Diriyah, Arab Saudi on January 27-28, 2023," he explained, Tuesday (1/17).
Therefore, Jakpro again hopes for the support of all parties for smoothen racing event which carries the theme net zero-emission race with a sustainability campaign highlighted by the international community.

Jakarta E-Prix 2022 Steering Committee Chairman, Bambang Soesatyo hoped that the IMI Jakarta, Central IMI together with Jakpro are ready to hold the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 in June. He asserted it is fully held using B2B funds together with a private party.
"We agree that the fund used for the event must be entirely from the private sector and sponsors, instead of City Budget (APBD)," stated the man who is familiarly called Bamsoet who also serves as Chairman of Central IMI.
