Untung Jawa Island Main Pier Embankment Being Repainted

Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is seen repainting the Untung Jawa Island Pier's embankment,

We repaint it to make it look more beautiful and to attract tourists

which is part of the maintenance aimed at beautifying the area.

Seribu SDA Sub-agency Head, Hendri expressed the embankment is painted up to 220 meters with colorful paint and interesting motifs.

"We repaint it to make it look more beautiful and to attract tourists," he said, Friday (2/17).

It has been ongoing since two days and is targeted to be completed in five days ahead. This work involved six workers.

"It is conducted from the main pier embankment to the east side of the beach," he explained.

Thus far, the progress has touched 40 percent and spent about four pails of paint.

"We're still waiting for new paint, as supplies are running out. Previously, we used it to paint 300 mainhole points," he stated.
