Next Week, Embankment Construction on Karya Island Completed

The embankment construction located on the south side of Karya Island, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands, which has been underway since last Sunday (1/25) is targeted to be completed next week. So far, the work progress has touched 75 percent.
It involves 20 workers every day
Seribu Islands Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Head, Hendri said the embankment that has 13.7 meters long, four meters wide, and four meters high is being contructed using materials, cement, split stone, and sand.
It is carried out for maintenance and to faciliate residents who want to make a pilgrimage to public cemetries on this island.

After it was done, the embankment which has 80 centimeters high and 10 centimeters thickness would be painted to make it cleaner and more beautiful.
On the other hand, the construction received appreciation from Panggang Island Resident, Syaeful Bahri.
"This also makes the Karya Island area beautiful. Hopefully, it will be completed according to the target," he concluded.
