KJP Plus Phase II Funds Disbursed this March

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) announces the fund disbursement for Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus Phase II 2022 in March starting March 1, 2023.

Jakarta residents who are new recipients of KJP Plus Phase II 2022 are asked to wait for an invitation to pick up their savings book and ATM card.

Educational Operational and Personal Funding Service Center (P4OP) Technical Management Unit Head, Waluyo Hadi said there would be 803,121 fund recipients or students from public and private schools.

Of 803,121 recipients, 367,280 are from elementary school (SD/MI), 222,120 are from junior high school (SMP/MTs), 79,636 are from senior high school (SMA/MA), and 2,556 are from Center for Community Learning Activities (PKBM).

"KJP Plus funds are disbursed in stages and the value varies depending on the level of education," he expressed, Thursday (3/2).

He explained the amount of funds received for SD/MI students is Rp 250,000, SMP/MTs Rp 300,000, SMA/MA Rp 420,000, SMK Rp 450,000, and PKBM Rp 300,000. The total funds disbursed in March amounted to Rp 304.7 billion.

It was intended to meet educational personal needs including uniforms, shoes, school bags, transportation costs, food, to extracurricular costs. Therefore, the fund recipients are given the flexibility to meet their educational support needs with the funds they receive.

"Hopefully, parents of students can use it properly to buy school equipment or supplies," he explained.
