Disdik Accelerates KJP Plus Phase II Disbursement

The Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) has disbursed educational funding assistance through Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus Phase II 2021. Every card holder can make cash withdrawals starting November 26, earlier than scheduled on November 29.

Waluyo Hadi, UPT Center Head for Personal Funding and Education Operations (P4OP) said, funds disbursement would be done gradually and the amount varied depending on the level of education.

"The funds disbursed on November 26 were three months of personal funds for public schools. As for private schools, we added five months of tuition funds," he expressed, Monday (11/29).

First Phase of KJP Plus Funds has Been Disbursed

He detailed, the amount of funds received for SD/SDLB/MI students was Rp 250,000; SMP/MTs/PKBM was Rp 300,000; SMA/SMALB/MA was Rp 420,000; and SMK was Rp 450.000. Meanwhile, the funds received for students were Rp 9,000,000 per semester.

"Additional tuition fees for private SD/MI for five months is Rp 130,000 per month, Private SMP/MTs for five months is Rp 170,000 per month. Then for Private SMA/MA for five months is Rp 290,000 per month, and Private SMK for five months is Rp 240,000 per month," he explained.

He explained, the total number of students receiving the assistance reached 816,690 from public and private schools. The amount of funds disbursed was Rp 1,865,820,222,168.

"Despite it has been transferred to the beneficiary's account for three months, they only get for one month according to the amount of personal funds per month and education level," he explained.

He added, the remaining balance in the account could be taken every month according to its designation according to the amount of personal funds per month.

"However, tuition funds cannot be withdrawn a.k.a blocked as it will be transferred to a private school checking account," he said.

He hoped, the parents could use it properly for the need of school equipment or supplies.

"Don't spend all of it but leave around Rp 126,000 to buy six subsidized food program commodities that are specifically given to KJP Plus recipients, starting from rice, chicken, beef, fish, eggs to milk," he closed.
