Then we also want to increase the citizen’s interest to ride public transportation," said Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) at City Hall, Tuesday (2/17).He added, his side will start the project from the beginning. It means the road will be demolished first before applying concrete layer. This is done to facilitate the articulated bus to pass the road.

Basuki explained, Jakarta Provincial Government also cooperates with Holcim Company to provide quick-drying cement on this project, so the project can be completed quickly.
"I still do not know when the project will complete because the Holcim Company only has 2 teams. But, we still need them to provide the quick-drying cement, a cement that can dry around 5 to 6 hours so we can complete the project immediately," he stated.
According to him, his side will continue to do this project even the rainy season still occurs in capital because the Jakarta Provincial Government takes all condition in the plan, including the weather conditions.
"We guarantee the project will complete immediately because we still work even the rainy season still occurs in capital," he continued.
He added, his side will also add 51 Transjakarta buses that have been in the current tender process.
"We predicted the 51 buses will come in June to December. And we predict the private will also join later, because they can also win in this year tender," he uttered.
