South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has noted that as many as 2,492 damaged roads in ten sub-districts spread across South Jakarta have been repaired from January to March 8, 2023.

This repair is focused on neighborhood, collector, and protocol roads

South Jakarta Road, Bridge, and Road Equipment Division Acting Head, Agus Indroyono expressed the roads were damaged because of inundation and high-tonnage vehicles.

"This repair is focused on neighborhood, collector, and protocol roads," he stated, Wednesday (3/8).

Some roads repaired were detected on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Jalan Trunojoyo, Jalan Panglima Polim, Jalan Supomo, etc.

"We send six to ten workers to do repair every day," he exclaimed.

They were instructed to monitor the road condition. If they found anything damaged or holes, they would immediately repair them using hotmix asphalt.

"Besides at noon, it is also carried out at night," he closed.
