4,195 Potholes in East Jakarta Repaired

It is done to anticipate traffic accidents and create a sense of road user comfort

The East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency has said that as many as 4,195 potholes spread across 10 sub-districts have undergone repair stages from January to February 2023.

East Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Benhard Hutanulu explained the repair work used materials such as asphalt, split, and scrap.

"It is done to anticipate traffic accidents and create a sense of road user comfort," he expressed, Monday (3/6).

In January, there were about 2,343 potholes repaired and most were executed in Pulogadung Sub-district area with 382 points, with the largest varying diameter of about one meter.

Then in February, there were about 1,852 potholes repaired and most were conducted in Matraman Sub-district with 327 points.

"The size and depth of the holes at each location vary, the largest is about one meter in diameter," he closed.
