Commission D Chairperson Sends School Equipment Aid to Victims of Plumpang Depot Fire

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission D, Ida Mahmudah has distributed school supplies for children who are victims of Plumpang fuel depot fire  in Rawa Badak Selatan Urban Village, Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/8).

The assistance distributed is in the form of uniforms and school bags.

"We directly give this assistance to children in refugee camps to be right on target," she expressed, Wednesday (3/8).

Bodies of Fire Victims in Plumpang Get Optimal Service

She explained the first phase of assistance given was 100 uniforms and bags for children who were still in elementary school to high school/vocational school.

"Yesterday, I came to collect aspiration, I talked with one of the fire survivors and spontaneously provided assistance.

In fact, there is a need for school supplies which I then follow up with data collection," she explained.

She also hoped that they could ontinue to be enthusiastic about school.

"Children must keep their spirited. From this disaster, there must be a wisdom. You have to learn well. Hopefully, this assistance can be useful and a little ease the burden of fire survivors at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot," she stated.
