West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi said, previously, street vendors (PKL) used the road from Jalan Latumenten until Tambora flats to sell their goods.

Effendi added, to prevent them to use the area again, his side will plant the trees and restore the land function as the park and green lane.

"Later, we will plant the area with trees and restore its function as the green lane," told Effendi, Thursday (2/19).

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-department Head, Jauhari Arifin uttered, his side will plant the trees after done tilling the soil and tree pruning on the road along 400 meters.

"The trees that will be planted are protected trees type as calathea, bougenville and other," he said.
