Retno Murdaningrum Happy to Receive Appreciation from Acting Governor

I'm very happy and proud

Pasar Minggu Urban Village PKK Secretary, South Jakarta, Retno Murdaningrum (53) felt happy and proud to receive a certificate and a cash appreciation from Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, Thursday (3/16 ).

She is one of 55 TP PKK cadres who received an appreciation as her service in PKK has been more than 10 years.

The appreciation was given by the Acting Governor on the sidelines of the PKK Unity Day (HKG)'s 51st-anniversary activities at PKK Melati Jaya Building, Kebagusan, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. Even, the 55 PKK cadres also received an appreciation of Rp 500,000 each.

"I'm happy and very proud. Alhamdulillah (Thank God), he appreciated our service so far," she expressed.

She explained she has served in the PKK since 2008. Starting from becoming a Posyandu, Dasawisma, PKK RW cadre and then moving up to the PKK Urban Village. She admitted that it was her first time receiving a certificate of appreciation from the number one person in Jakarta.

During her time as a PKK cadre, she experienced many ups and downs. However, all this did not dampen her enthusiasm for carrying out social duties for the welfare of society.

"The positive is that I can add insight or knowledge. At an advanced age, we can still work and pass on knowledge to residents or the surrounding environment," she admitted.
