Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono attended the Satpol PP's  73rd Anniversary and the Community Protection Unit (Satlinmas)'s 61st Anniversary held at the south side of Monas.

Improve preparedness in maintaining a conducive democratic process for economic recovery

In his speech, he expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all members of Jakarta Satpol PP and Satlinmas who always try to maintain peace, public order and protect the community. It is Jakarta is the center of activity for the movement of the national economy, which is the destination of livelihood for people from various regions and backgrounds.

"This condition makes various challenges that must be handled carefully and appropriately in a bid to bring peace and public order to Jakartans," he expressed, Thursday (3/16).

He also hoped that Satpol PP and Satlinmas could be more solid, responsive, and humane in enforcing regulations and maintaining public order in line with the theme of the 2023 anniversary, namely creating an orderly and investment-friendly area.

"This aims to support policies on ease of doing business and investment in Jakarta, as well as controlling inflation, increasing economic growth, and people's welfare," he explained.

He also urged the Satpol PP and Satlinmas to consolidate in dealing with various potential vulnerabilities ahead of the upcoming 2024 General Election and Regional Election.

"Improve preparedness in maintaining a conducive democratic process for economic recovery," he explained.

In the next few days, already entering the holy month of Ramadan, they can also synergize with various elements of society to maintain tolerance of inter-religious harmony and the safety and comfort of worship activities.

"Once again I wish you a happy anniversary for Satpol PP and Satlinmas. Continue to serve and protect the community, enforce regional regulations and regional heads politely and humanely but remain firm," he stated.
