Thousands of Cemeteries in W. Jakarta will Be Arranged

An additional program of green open space (RTH) as water absorption area keeps being done by Jakarta Provincial Government. As planned, thousands of public cemeteries that spread in West Jakarta will be arranged using the placard system, which is by replacing the tombstone with plaque.

In public cemeteries as wide as less than 5,000 square meters, the placard system will be applied in 150-150 tombs. While for cemeteries as wide as more than 5,000 square meters, the system will also be applied in 250-300 tombs, particularly in Joglo and Utan Jati.
Head of Parks and Public Cemetery Section, West Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Sub-Department, Siti Hasni planned to arrange seven cemeteries with small scale. "We'll use the placard system," she stated, Monday (2/23).
